The results of the study stunned a scientific community often skeptical of natural fertility treatment methods, and researchers quickly tried to test the results to see if they were replicable or not. They were, and numerous additional scientific studies have confirmed that acupuncture and IVF when used simultaneously leads to much higher pregnancy outcomes.
One of the most recent and comprehensive studies of acupuncture and IVF was done in 2008 and published in the the British Medical Journal. This study involved over 1300 women in seven different randomized and controlled studies testing the acupuncture and IVF link. published a study involving seven controlled and randomized studies of 1366 women. Acupuncture is the insertion of ultra-thin, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points on the body which live in on channels or meridians, these are pathways in both the exterior and interior of the body. These points, when needled, can manage the way in which the body functions. Acupuncture helps by addressing problems that affect birthrate such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. Acupuncture can be used to treat any type of fertility disorder involving spasmed tubes. Alarm for all men who want to become fathers! Some soy products could reduce the amount of sperm in the semen. According to a recent study, men who eat soy products may have a level of semen below average. A study was conducted on a small group of men undertaken at Massachusetts General Hospital Fertility Center from 2000 to 2006. Although the study showed that some men who regularly consume soy products had a lower number of spermatozoids, the researchers who conducted the study did not attribute the cause of low concentration of sperm to soy products. Furthermore, despite the noticed decline, the quantity of sperm is still in the norm.
Researchers do not deny that during the study a lower level of sperm was recorded in men who regularly consume soy products, but others believe that other factors may be involved such as obesity or simply overweight. Moreover, according to some researchers, 99% of men involved in the study did not allow a comprehensive representation of the average population.
