I had hormonal imbalance for almost a year. Since last 2 months, I am getting my periods alright. First month was due to a medicine recommended by a fertility doctor and he said it will help me to concieve for sure. But due to my relocation, I could not continue his treatment. I have started the treatment in my new location and this one is a combination of Chinese medicine + Acupuncture. It helped me get my second cycle of menstruation and the doctor assured I will be alright within another few weeks.

On the 5th day of my periods, we had sex and at the end of it there was white milky liquid (lot of it) on my vagina which I believed was my husband’s semen.

Question: If we continue to have regular sex and if I get the periods next month, should I understand that I havent conceived?

How long does it usually take to get pregnant after getting back your periods cycle normal ? Has anybody of you had any hormone problems and later conceived and delivered normally?

I am a bit ignorant over this whole issue. so, as many advises shall be appreciated. Thanks to you all!
