More the stress that it could cause to the baby and may force and unplanned C section. What about acupuncture? Thank you in advance.

Well acupuncture is unlikely to make the baby move into the proper position for natural birth- doctors can turn the baby with inversion therapy and most of the time it causes no problems – look, if they cant get baby to turn around and go into the birth canal then you will need a c-section anyway so if I were you I would try the therapy.
YOu still have 4 weeks to go. You don’t need to stress until you are in labor. If they have to do a C section it is not the end of the world, millions of women have them every day.
Follow the doctor’s advice, they are trying to help you.
maybe i’m biased but accupuncture isn’t gonna turn your baby! yes an unplanned c section is a small risk but if your baby stays breech…you set a date for the planned section…then you go into labour before that date…that still counts as an unplanned section!
basically i’m saying that there are many things you cant “plan” on.
if you’re keen on a normal delivery, then i would say give it a go.an ECV is just a bit uncomfortable for you and its usually perfectly fine for baby.
be positive,we have ladies turning up for the ecv and the babies have turned themselves!!
my daughter was breech and if it wasn’t for my odd shaped uterus(which is a contraindication) i would have definitely done it.
Your baby still has time to turn before you go into labor (and can even turn while you’re in labor). My youngest flipped transverse (side to side) the day I went into labor but turn again to the head down position.
If you want to try some natural ways to turn the baby yourself, you can try the following.
1. Butt in the air. Get on all fours and drop your chest to the floor so your butt is in the air. Remain in this position for 10 mintues. You can do this several times a day. The theory behind it is that the baby will be coarsed into flipping as you’ve now put him/her in an upside position.
2. Music and lights. Babies are sensitive to light and sound. The can hear sounds and see light so this can convince him/her to turn. Lay in a comfortable position and have your partner play music (or use a flashlight) near your vagina. You can be clothed for this. He/she will notice the change and may flip around to explore.
3. Accupressure. There is a pressure point on the side of your pinky toe (you can google this for more info). Applying pressure to said spot can cause your little one to turn.
I hope this helps some. Good luck and try not to worry
