Phrase IV- menstruation phrase occurs (about 3-5 days), if there is no conception taken place, the yang energy drops, causing the shedding of the uterus lining, the liver transforms yang energy back to yin at the beginning of the phrase. The menstrual discharge is bright red and profuse and only lasts between 3 – 5 days ( spotting does not count).
I will continue to provide more information which contributes to the causes of abnormal menstrual cycle, including prolonged and shortened phrases in each phrase and how you can cure them. The aim of this series is to provide the information of how you can modify your menstrual cycle for easy conception. If in the yang energy is deficient, it will cause the drop of BBT temperature that affects the chance of fertility.
