I am 6 dpo and trying to conceive after multiple miscarriages. Today my acupuncturist did a point at the top of my head. Does anyone know what that point is for, and if it is safe for pregnancy.
Acupuncture is the insertion of ultra-thin, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points on the body which live in on channels or meridians, these are pathways in both the exterior and interior of the body. These points, when needled, can manage the way in which the body functions. Acupuncture helps by addressing problems that affect birthrate such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. Acupuncture can be used to treat any type of fertility disorder involving spasmed tubes. Acupuncture is frequently combined with herbs to handle raised follicle stimulating hormone, repeated pregnancy departure, idiopathic sterility, luteal stage flaw, hyperprolactinemia, polycystic ovarian syndrome with annovulatory cycles.
I have terrible back pain due to pregnancy and would like to have acupuncture. I have never had it before but am wondering, is it safe??
if you have tried it, please let me know if it worked, and how many sessions were required before you had some relief (or if it didn’t work at all!)
i have severe wrist pain caused by swelling during pregnancy (pregnancy induced carpel tunnel). i know it’ll go away as soon as i have the baby, but in the mean time, it hurts! i’ve been using a wrist brace for 2 months and it helped for a while. i’m 35 weeks and do not want to take any ‘pills’ or shots for the pain.
i went yesterday for my first acupuncture session and i cannot tell any change. i go again on friday, and then again next week. the acupuncturist said it usually takes 3 sessions. i’m willing to try, i’m just curious if anyone has had any results!
