After you give birth, you will experience a certain amount of hair loss, something women who have given birth before experienced for themselves. While you’re pregnant, your body won’t shed hair at its normal rate, so after the pregnancy is over, things will return to normal. This leaves you with much thinner hair and the worries about how much more you’re going to lose and wondering if it will ever come back.

While women are pregnant, their bodies have additional hormones and blood flow that enables them to retain much more of their hair. Your hair will likely grow much better than it ever has. This is something that all pregnant women experience, although doctors used to think this hair growth was the result of prenatal vitamins. All the extra nutrients create a minimum hair loss situation and allows your hair to continue growing for a longer period of time creating thicker, healthier hair. Most women are excited about this phenomenon. It’s important that you realize this won’t be the case forever though.

After you give birth, your hormone levels will drop again, and hair loss will begin within two to three months after delivery. The amount of hair that you lose at one time will vary. Some women lose only a small amount at one time while others notice that hair is coming out by the handful. Even though you realize that you’re going to lose your hair, there are still things that you can do to minimize the effects of the hair loss.

It’s vital that you care for your body properly in order to minimize the effects of your hair loss. Not only do you need proper nutrition, but you also need an adequate amount of rest. However, you will probably have a lot of trouble getting enough sleep with a new baby in the house. You can also force yourself to rest any time the baby rests. You will also need to balance out all the housework that needs to be done. The cleaning will wait until a more opportune time.

Giving yourself daily scalp massages with nurturing oils can also be effective in slowing down the loss of hair. You may also want to look into natural treatments that may help such as acupuncture and aromatherapy. Even if you experience hair loss, just know that it won’t last forever. Sooner or later, your hair will start to grow back. Doc No. 34Sdlhgsdl -sds
